🌿 General Policies

Go Bike CR, from GOBIKE BLUE S.R.L., is committed to Costa Rica's vision as a carbon-neutral country, promoting cycling tourism as an active, clean and sustainable way to explore the country.

Environmental Policy

• ✅ Prioritize routes through protected areas, national parks and biological corridors, always under minimum-impact criteria.
• ✅ Reduce carbon footprint by promoting collective transportation between destinations.
• ✅ Implement "Leave No Trace" practices on all tours.
• ✅ Properly manage waste during tours, promoting recycling and composting.
• ✅ Train guides and clients on environmental topics, local biodiversity and respect for flora and fauna.

Productive Linkages

• 🔗 Include family-owned accommodations and eco-lodges that employ local workforce.
• 🔗 Hire certified local guides, especially in rural and indigenous communities.
• 🔗 Serve meals prepared by small restaurants and rural gastronomic enterprises.
• 🔗 Promote the consumption of local artisanal and organic products along the routes.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

• • Donation of bicycles to children in rural areas and educational projects that promote cycling as school transportation.
• • Inclusion of people with disabilities through adapted tours or community volunteering.
• • Environmental awareness and education programs for children and youth in communities along the routes.
• • Free training for rural youth to become bicycle mechanics or cycling tourism guides.

Booking Policy

All reservations must be made at least 90 days before the event date. To confirm the booking, please send an email to info@gobikecr.com" style="color:var(--blue);">info@gobikecr.com including: participant names, ID number, nationality, event of interest, phone and WhatsApp number, and a copy of the first page of the passport.

❌ Cancellation Policy

• • The booking may be cancelled at any time, but no later than 15 days before the event date, by sending an email to info@gobikecr.com" style="color:var(--blue);">info@gobikecr.com.
• • Cancellations with less than 15 days' notice are subject to review and may incur charges.
• • In the event of cancellation by Go Bike CR, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued.

🔒 Privacy Policy & Data Protection

In accordance with current legislation on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that your data will be included in the processing system of GOBIKECR, owned by Ernesto Quirós and Dauber Sibaja, located in Heredia, Costa Rica, for the purpose of addressing your inquiries and sending you related information that may be of interest.

GOBIKECR informs you that the data will be kept only for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the aforementioned purposes, and will be processed lawfully, fairly, transparently, appropriately, relevantly, accurately and up-to-date.

In accordance with the rights granted by current data protection laws, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, limitation of processing, deletion, data portability, and objection by sending your request to info@gobikecr.com.

By submitting the data collection form, you accept the privacy policy of GOBIKECR.
